Weekend at LBI

We went to Nanny & Poppy's camper at Long Beach Island, NJ this weekend.  We had a fun time with them and Caleb's Aunts, Uncle and Cousins.  Caleb was a little sick and we ended up taking him to Urgent Care to have his ears checked.  He had the start of an ear infection and a very sore throat.  They put him on ammoxicillian and prednisone and he seemed to instantly feel better.. phew!!!

Saturday we ate steak, lobster tail and shrimp for dinner at the campsite...mmmmm, it was delicious.  After dinner we headed out to Bay Village amusement park and shops.  We rode some rides and then shopped a little afterwards.  It was a late night, but the kids all did really well. 

On our way to the Bay Village we drove past Elmo standing outside waving to cars outside an ice cream shop.  We just had to turn around to say hi!!!

Caleb loved him and kept saying "hi" and reaching out to touch him!
