He's here!!

Caleb was born on May 3, 2009 via C-Section at 3:52pm at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz. and was 20.75 in. long.

After the surgery, both Mom and baby were doing well. Caleb has some problems latching on to breastfeed in the first few days, which made feeding a bit stressful. After being discharged Mommy was re-admitted with post pardium pre-eclampsia. My blood pressure was really high and I had to be put on Magnesium until the Doctors could get it under control. I am now feeling much better and much more like myself. I'm enjoying all the joys of Motherhood and getting to know my newborn =)
